PEO Sudbury is proud to be part of this year’s Sudbury Regional Science Fair where bright young minds showcased their creativity, curiosity, and commitment to discovery.
A special thank you to our incredible volunteer, Vijay Sharma P.Eng., who represented PEO Sudbury at the event and had the honor of handing out awards to these inspiring students.
On April 12, 2025, the PEO Algonquin Chapter hosted a Popsicle Stick Bridge Building and Busting Challenge in the Petawawa Civic Centre for students in grades 5 to 12 from across the Ottawa Valley.
Student teams designed and constructed their bridges with popsicle sticks and glue. Volunteers from the PEO Algonquin Chapter provided materials and instructions.

The PEO North Bay chapter would like to invite students from grades 5 through 12 to participate in the 2025 Bridge Building Competition on Friday March 28, 2025 at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic School. Students are provided balsa wood sticks to create wood bridges that are then scored for structural strength and craftsmanship.
