Patrick A. Selvadurai, P.Eng., is internationally recognized for his research in the field of Mechanics of Materials with micro-structure, non-linear diffusion phenomenon, stress analysis of fibre reinforced solids and others. He has published over look papers in refereed journals and over 130 papers in refereed conference proceedings. He is an author of five books. Engineer Selvadurai is recognized by his peers as an outstanding engineering educator. He is largely responsible for establishing the bachelors program in environmental engineering at Carlton University where he has served as Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering. Professor Selvadurai has been honoured many times by technical societies for his research papers; by the CSME in 1991, and as CNRS fellow by the Institute of Mechanics in Grenoble.
