PEO Continues Licence Suspension for PEAK Non-Compliance

UPDATE

On June 15, PEO suspended 47 licences held by individuals who failed to comply with the PEAK program. Seven were suspended for failure to complete the 2025 continuing professional development report (CPDR) requirement, and 40 suspended for failure to complete the 2026 practice evaluation (PE) and/or professional practice module (PPM) requirements.

These are a continuation from 2025 when 21 licences were suspended on November 10. Additional suspensions will continue to be applied in phases.

As a reminder, PEAK CPD requirements are mandatory. To complete the program, visit the PEAK section of the PEO portal account. To view completion statuses, visit the Awards tab on the PEAK page.

  • They cannot assume responsibility for professional engineering work, including supervising or taking responsibility for engineering work performed by others, or affixing your seal.
  • The licence suspension will be noted on the public PEO directory.
