Lorraine Fraser, Ph.D., MBA, M.Eng., P.Eng., FEC

Lorraine Fraser is a registered professional chemical engineer. She completed her Ph.D. in Operations, Supply Chain Management and Technology in 2025 at Carleton University. She also holds an MBA (University of Windsor), a Master of Engineering (University of Toronto), Hons. B.Sc. (University of Toronto), along with several additional professional certifications. 

Lorraine Fraser is a multidisciplinary professional with over 25 years of experience in the private sector. She started her career in product development and progressed to roles in process engineering, quality, lean, and operations management. Her career has spanned a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, consumer packaged goods, plastics, automotive finishes, chemicals, electronics, and food. She has successfully led and influenced major, complex projects across all levels of an organization (unionized and non-unionized), demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration within cross-functional teams. Lorraine continues to be active in consulting and teaching. She teaches at the graduate and post-graduate levels at colleges and universities across Ontario and has published peer-reviewed research and presented at professional conferences. 

Lorraine Fraser has been actively involved in volunteer and community initiatives since her teenage years. She serves as a board director of the Compass Charitable Foundation and has served in various capacities with PEO and ASQ, including on the boards of local chapters. She has developed and supported community programs with Toronto Community Housing and continues to contribute to other charitable organizations.
