Event Information:
PEO York Chapter is pleased to offer a tour of the GTAA Central Utilities Plant. Attendees will get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the cogeneration facility that helps power and heat Toronto Pearson International Airport. From gas turbines to heat recovery systems, the tour may spark meaningful conversations about sustainable energy, system resiliency, and engineering innovation in critical infrastructure.
Due to limited visitor parking at the facility, taking public transit or carpooling is highly recommended.
Note: All Attendees MUST bring the following items to participate in the tour:
1. Valid government-issued photo ID (e.g.: driver's license or passport).
2. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots and hard hats. Limited hard hats will be available on-site for those who do not have their own.
