Annual General Meeting

The York Chapter Executive Committee would like to invite you to the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM provides chapter members with an opportunity to receive updates on the previous fiscal year's operations, activities, events, and the chapter financial report. Members will also elect the new Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term.

The AGM is an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the initiatives and events the Chapter has organized over the past year. You will also have the opportunity networking with fellow members.

2026-2027 Executive Committee Nomination Notice

The election for the 2026-2027 executive committee will take place at the AGM.

The chapter Executive Committee is a team of volunteers that guides the chapter's activities and ensuring alignment with PEO's mandate. They organize and implement chapter events, communications and goals. Professional engineers and EITs in good standing with PEO can hold any position on the chapter executive.

If you are interested in contributing and serving the local engineering community as on the Executive Committee, please submit your nomination to [email protected]. 
•    Nominee must be a member in good standing with PEO
•    Nomination must be endorsed by two nominators (members of the chapter who are eligible to vote at the chapter AGM)
•    Include a brief explanation of why you wish to run for election
The deadline for submitting your candidacy is February 14, 2026.
