Our Speaker:


Mark Popik, P.Eng., M,Eng., AVS

Mark Popik is a Partner and Senior Pavement Engineer at Thurber Engineering Ltd. with over twenty-five (25) years of experience in providing Pavement Engineering across Canada. Over his career he has developed Pavement Designs with a variety of materials, including: Asphalt, Concrete, Roller-Compacted Concrete, Segmental Pavements, Cellular Concrete, and Permeable Pavements. His experience extends from rehabilitation of major freeways and intermodal terminal pavements, new highway and highway expansions project, to Municipal and lower volume roadways. Mark is an active member of the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) and is the Chair of the TAC Pavement Committee.
