Event Information:

The New Ontario Fire Code took effect on January 1, 2026.  In this new edition of the Fire Code, there are some significant changes to fire and life safety requirements which impact building owners, inspectors, engineers and technicians.

In this presentation, we will breakdown the key changes in the new 2025 OFC, Part by Part, to provide a clear and practical review of the amendments from the technical perspective, explain the rationale behind the amendments, and how these changes may change the way we design, maintain and operate fire & life safety systems in buildings.
