Message from the Chapter Chair

WELCOME to the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Lambton Chapter Website!

 

I wish to offer a warm greeting to all PEO members in Sarnia Lambton, as well as STEM students and the General Public to this communication tool for our Chapter, and PEO in general.

 

Please use this website as your entry point to communicate with our local PEO volunteers, any question or concern we can support you with; also please, explore our offerings in presentations we carry as part of our General Membership Assemblies, Technical Presentations and Community Events throughout the year, as well as Networking Events for all our fellow PEO members.

 

As the local branch of PEO, and in compliance with PEO’s mandate to protect and serve the public in our self-regulated profession, we aim to promote the Engineering profession, to support all licensed Professional Engineers to stay current and qualified in their respective disciplines within our profession, as well as to support the members and the public in case of concerns related to complaints, disputes, guidelines and standards.

 

I am pleased to serve as the Chapter Chair and I, as well as the rest of the volunteers supporting the Lambton Chapter, look forward to seeing you at our events, and to be able to support you with any question or concern you may have in relation to the Engineering Profession in Ontario.

Lambton Chapter committees

  1. The communication committee manages communications outreach with Chapter members via emails, the chapter website, newsletters and our social media channels.

  2. The GLP committee works to ensure that government, elected officials and the public continue to recognize and understand PEO’s regulatory mandate and policy directions.

  3. The education outreach committee works with local schools, teachers and students to promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and careers.

  4. The events committee plans and organizes events—networking, recognition, professional development, recreational and more—for chapter members.

    We invite all chapter members and volunteers to participate in the following vacant committees to help strengthen PEO's mission and vision within the Lambton chapter.
