About

Our Chapter

We are delighted to welcome you to the official online home of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Kingston Chapter—the local hub for professional engineering in the Limestone City.

Whether you're a seasoned P.Eng., an Engineering Intern (E.I.T.), or an aspiring student, our chapter is your connection to the local engineering community. We strive to fulfill PEO's regulatory mandates right here in the Eastern Ontario region and as one of 36 chapters across Ontario.

Our Local Mandate & Impact

Our efforts are focused on real-world impact in Kingston and include:

  • Governing Members & Professional Growth: We provide networking and essential continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities throughout the year.
  • Promoting Public Awareness: We engage with the community to showcase engineering's critical role in local development including highlighting modern marvels like the Waaban Crossing—a key infrastructure achievement for our region.
  • Supporting Licensure: We help guide the next generation of engineers through the licensure process toward achieving their P.Eng. designation.
  • Education Outreach: We inspire future engineers by running STEM programs and student events including the annual bridge-building challenge, Science rendezvous, and scholarship awarding for local schools across the Kingston region.

Join us for technical seminars, P.Eng. certificate ceremonies, and social gatherings (like our annual golf event, summer BBQ, and technical talks) designed to connect you with your peers. Explore our site to find upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and resources.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
