PEO Grand River: Bruce Power Plant Tour

Your Grand River Chapter is pleased to offer a whole new technical tour experience: Bruce Power!
Bruce Power is the world’s largest operating nuclear generating facility and a cornerstone of Ontario’s clean energy infrastructure. Located on the eastern shore of Lake Huron, the site provides approximately 30% of Ontario’s electricity with zero carbon emissions. The station consists of eight CANDU reactors with a combined capacity of over 6,600 MW.
- Pick-up Location: We have arranged a Sharp Charter Bus for all attendees.

Please arrive early; the bus will depart promptly!
- Return: The bus will depart Bruce Power at 1:30 PM, arriving back in Kitchener at approximately 3:30 PM.

Security checks at the Visitors’ Centre before heading to site.
All bags, cameras and cell phones will need to be left on the bus, or in the bin they provide at the Visitors’ Centre.
