East Toronto Chapter: 2025 Family Barbecue & Social

PEO’s East Toronto Chapter invites you and your family to join us for our 2025 Chapter Barbecue! Come out to network and socialize with others in the engineering profession. 

All engineers and supporters of the engineering profession are welcome. Families and guests are also welcome to attend. Pets on leashes are permitted in the park in compliance with city by-laws.

Halal and vegetarian meal options are available; salad and drinks are included. Seating at tables will be provided, feel free to bring your own picnic blankets and sun shades.

Location: Cherry Beach, Clarke Beach Park Picnic Area (1 Cherry St, Toronto, ON  M5A 3L1)
Cost: $10/person. Space is limited to 80 people.
The barbecue will be held rain or shine.

Directions:
Via TTC: From Union Station, walk to TTC Bus Stop 246 (west side of Bay St, south of Front St next to glass emergency exit building), take the 202 Cherry Beach bus route to the Cherry Beach Loop bus stop. Walk east along Martin Goodman Trail to the picnic area north of the parking lot to arrive at the Clarke Beach Park Picnic Area.
Via Automobile: Parking is available east of Cherry Loop at the bottom of Cherry Street. Please note, there may be other events at the beach so parking may be limited.
