Getting Closer to the Stars - Hallam Observatory Tour 2025

Because of poor weather conditions in late July, the Chapter needed to revise the original event date to this fall.  The details include the following:

Date: Friday, September 26, 2025

Time: 8:30pm to midnight (please arrive between 7:45 and 8:15pm)

Location: Hallam Observatory (3989 S. Middle Road, Staples, ON; see flyer for map and directions)

Cost: Only $5.25 admission fee (plus $1.66 Eventbrite fees)!

Registration due, by 12pm (noon) on September 23, 2025

All members and family are welcome to attend!

Please park against the face of the barn by the Observatory with HEADLIGHTS POINTED TOWARDS THE BARN

NOTE: This tour is both indoors and outdoors in early fall.  Sometimes it can be warm and sometimes it can be cool.  Bring a light jacket, just in case. Also, potentially, mosquitos will be “feasting”, so please bring your mosquito repellant! 

Also note that the Hallam Observatory can only host a maximum of 20 people each night.  There will be a waiting list based on the demand. If you find that your plans have changed and you can no longer attend, please contact us for cancelling your ticket.  This will allow us to offer those on the waiting list a ticket to attend.  Thanks for being considerate of others!
