Whether you’re involved in project planning, design, operations, or engineering management, this talk will provide valuable insight into how old mining structures can be safely assessed, upgraded, and adapted for new purposes

Bud Dzuirban Bio Summary:

Brian "Bud" Dzuirban is the founding partner and specialist structural engineer at Makami Engineering Group. He is a registered professional engineer specializing in heavy industry, including mill building design and hot metal crane runway design, and other welding applications. His career began at Rowswell Engineering (later name changed to RA Engineers and Inspectors). He then worked for almost 10 years at INCO's general engineering department, performing work at all INCO sites, including Thompson and Port Colborne. In his role at INCO, he also worked across two departments in the specialist group in materials and welding. Bud is also a Level 3 visual inspector per CSA W178.2, and a Certified IIW (International Institute of Welding) Engineer.
