PEO Mississauga Chapter Mathletics - 2026

The annual Mathletics Challenge organized by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Mississauga Chapter will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026. It is a morning full of exciting math challenges and the chance to test your mathematics skills against fellow students from all over the city.

The competition includes both general individual math questions as well as two presentation-based rounds, with each round involving engineering-related mathematics problems. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 highest scoring students from each grade.

This competition is open to students currently enrolled in grade 6, grade 7 and grade 8.

Calculator Requirements: The registrant needs to prepare their own basic/engineering/scientific calculator to participate. Please note that cellphones are not allowed during the challenge.

Location: Tomken Road Middle School at 3200 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2Y6

Time: 9:00 AM to 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2026

(Registrant check-in starts at 8:45AM)

Cost: $8 per student, which includes the pizza lunch

Question Style: Multiple choice based questions and individual challenge, no team work is needed for this contest.

Preparation: To prepare for this challenge, we encourage you to use Kangaroo, Caribou and Waterloo math contest websites and their sample questions as references.
