PEO Lake Ontario Chapter Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition.
The Lake Ontario Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and OACETT Durham, in collaboration with the Ontario Tech University Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, are proud to present the 2026 Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition.
Design a bridge and compete for prizes and recognition from your peers and Professional Engineers!
This competition will be held for two categories:
- Junior Level: Students in grades 5 and 6 (Team of a min of 2 or a max of 4)
- Senior Level: Students in grades 7 and 8 (Individual or team of up to 4)
Venue: Ontario Tech University, Gym 1 and 2
Registration fee: $10 per team
Registration is open until May 8, 2026, at noon OR when a Maximum of 50 Teams have registered. We recommend you register early to secure your spot.
