About the Speaker

Oliver Xiao, P.Eng., LEED GA
Principal Consultant, Z1 Consulting Inc.

Oliver is a licenced professional engineer in Ontario with extensive experience in R&D, construction materials and technologies, standards and specifications, industry associations, and infrastructure projects across Eastern Canada. While working for the industry association, he managed the Ontario ready-mix production facilities quality assurance program and supported municipalities across the province with construction best practices.

Oliver is actively involved with several professional associations. He previously served as Chair of the OSPE Infrastructure Task Force. He is currently a board member of the ACI Ontario Chapter, a voting member of ACI 523, and a member of TAC technical committees. He has also participated in various industry task forces and standards committees.
