2026 NEM Design Competition

In honor of National Engineering Month, the Chatham-Kent Chapter is hosting an Impromptu Design Challenge!
Teams of up to 4 students will compete to design the best prototype to complete the assigned task. Junior and senior students will complete their prototypes, which will then be tested and judged. Prizes for top 3 contenders will be awarded, along with chances to win raffle prizes. All students in grade 7&8 (Junior) and grades 9-12 (Senior) are welcome, no prior experience or preparation is required!
