PEO Brantford Chapter Technical Tour - GrandBridge Energy

GrandBridge Energy is the electrical service provider to Brantford and area.  A tour of their service facility on June 19 commencing at 2:00 pm with a participation of 17 engineers including 5 personnel from Grandbridge Energy, 3 of whom were  fellow engineers. 

The presentation included the area served and how the electrical grid is changing due to an ever-varying electricity demand.  A tour of the state-of-the-art control room included a synopsis on how the electrical grid is monitored and how electrical outages are resolved.

GrandBridge Energy hosted pizza, salad and drinks during an informal networking opportunity.
