PEO Brampton Chapter 2026 AGM and Certificate Presentation Ceremony
Notice of 2026 Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the Brampton Chapter of PEO will be held at the Chandni Convention Centre (5 Gateway Blvd, Brampton, ON L6T 4X2) on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of:
- Receiving and considering the chair’s report for the calendar year ending December 31, 2025;
- Receiving and considering the treasurer’s report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025;
- Receiving and considering the audited financial statement for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025;
- Electing chapter executive members; and
- Transacting such further and other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

The AGM is open to all members of the chapter.
Following the AGM, a certificate presentation ceremony will be held for engineers who have recently received their licences.
A formal dinner is part of the ceremony and requires the purchase of a ticket.
Members who wish to take part in the ceremony will be required to purchase a ticket in advance from the event Registration Page.
2026-2027 Executive Committee Nomination Notice
The election for the 2026-2027 executive committee will take place at the AGM.
The chapter Executive Committee is a team of volunteers that guides the chapter's activities and ensures alignment with PEO's mandate. They organize and implement chapter events, communications and goals. Professional engineers and EITs in good standing with PEO can hold any position on the chapter executive.
If you are interested in contributing and serving on the Executive Committee, please submit your nomination to [email protected].
- Nominee must be a member in good standing with PEO
- Nomination must be endorsed by two nominators (members of the chapter who are eligible to vote at the chapter AGM)
- Include a brief explanation of why you wish to run for election
The deadline for submitting your candidacy is 6:00 pm on January 30, 2026.
Chapter members who are interested in being candidates for the Executive Committee must fill out a copy of the Nomination Form.
Please note that nomination forms will be accepted by e-mail only. The submission of forms in person or via other methods, such as fax or regular mail, will not be accepted.
