ORDER OF HONOUR – QUESTIONS FOR YOUR VIDEO INTERVIEW

Your interview responses will be distilled into a 2-minute video which is meant to focus on your volunteer achievements and how they support and advance PEO’s regulatory mandate. Please avoid referring to PEO as an association and use the word “regulator” instead. The questions will be cut off and you may repeat a part of the question when answering it, so the audience will understand clearly what you are talking about. For example, when you get a question: What do you feel are your biggest accomplishments as a PEO volunteer? – you may start your answer with: I think my biggest accomplishments are…

PLEASE NOTE: These interview questions are for you to prepare responses for your upcoming video interview. You do not need to send these responses back to PEO.

  1. Please start with a brief introduction – your name, field of engineering, and for how long you have been a PEO volunteer.
  2. Tell us a bit about yourself. What inspired you to pursue engineering? What do you do (or did) as an engineer professionally?

  3. How did you get into volunteering with PEO? What was your first PEO volunteer experience and a brief overview of your PEO volunteer history to date?

  4. What do you feel are your biggest accomplishments as a PEO volunteer? What impacts did these have on PEO as a regulator?

  5. How can volunteers support and advance PEO’s regulatory mandate?

  6. What has been your most rewarding experience as a PEO volunteer?

  7. Why do you think it is important for engineers to volunteer with their engineering regulator? What would you still like to accomplish as a PEO volunteer?
