Preparing for PEO’s 2018-2020 Strategic Plan—Continuing the momentum
Since the launch of our 2015-2017 Strategic Plan, we have continued to reach out to stakeholders to ensure we don’t lose momentum when the plan ends.
Now, the groundwork is being laid for a new plan covering the 2018-2020 period. The new plan will provide the direction for Council to set policies and goals to guide the association, and provide a clear focus to the Registrar and staff for program implementation and management.
Here are some of the resources we’ve gathered to date that are helping us to formulate the next iteration of the plan:
- 2015-2017 Strategic Plan (January 2015)
- PEO Member Satisfaction Survey (2015)
- Communications Audit Report (June 2015)
- Chapter Leaders Conference Report (November 2015)
- Member Satisfaction Survey: Summary Report (February 2016)
- Government Liaison Program Audit Report (October 2016)
- Volunteer Leaders Conference Report (April 2016)
We are currently active in the consultation phase of the plan development process, seeking input from all PEO stakeholders, including Council, staff, committees, chapters, members, the government and our partners. This phase will continue until the beginning of summer with SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) sessions being held to help assess our strategic position.
If you have any questions about the planning process or would like to contribute information to the plan’s development, contact us at StrategicPlan@peo.on.ca.
Your contributions will help PEO to remain relevant and responsive to the needs of our stakeholder community.
