PEO's Expanded Public Information Model (EPIM)

The Expanded Public Information Model (EPIM) provides the public with relevant information about practitioners. Enabling access to as muchinformation about licensed engineers as possible allows PEO to fulfill its regulatory mandate of serving and protecting the public interest by fostering informed choice by the public, and promotes professional accountability in practitioners.

Questions regarding Licence holder Profile - Academic data

Missing Data
Do not be alarmed if academic data is missing. We are currently working to fill in the gaps from your original documents. We hope to complete this data cleanup in early 2007.

Errors
Type 1- Undergraduate degree errors
If your academic data is not accurate, please email documentcentre@peo.on.ca. We will review your original documents and correct your profile. Should your reporting of the error not agree with the original documents, we will contact you directly before taking any action.

Type 2 - Adding additional degrees to your Education Profile
If you have acquired additional degrees you may add them to your academic profile.

Step 1: Go to Member's Area.

Step 2:

Go to "View Licence holder Profile" / "Education Profile". Licence holders may add additional degrees under their PEO verified degree.To save data you must scroll to bottom of academic module and click on "Modify Academic Data" button.This action will ensure the data is accessible for the EPIM module.

Member's Area

Degrees reported to PEO as part of the licensing process are described as "Verified by PEO". Post licensing degrees reported using our online reporting mechanism will be described as "Licence holder Reported".

Disciplines
Disciplines published in the directory are a combination of academic, which PEO has verified, and licence holder reported.
